Our Hygienists

Today's dentistry is nothing like it used to be. The wonders of modern technology have given rise to dental capabilities never dreamed of years ago. Contemporary tools and knowledge, combined with a caring and personal approach, have revolutionized the manner in which dental care is given.

Our dental office remains at the forefront of the latest advances for the benefit of our patients. We treat all ages, from the growing needs of young children to the sensitive concerns of the mature adult.

Lesley, R.D.H.

Lesley started with the practice in high school helping with the front desk and eventually working chair-side in the operatory rooms as an assistant. She attended West Liberty University in Wheeling, W.V. and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She returned to the practice in 1994 and currently works part-time.

Ami, R.D.H.

Ami has been one of our hygienists in our office since 2002. She grew up in Maryland and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland Dental School. Outside of the office, Ami enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She enjoys seeing patients and helping with all of their dental needs.

Beth, R.D.H.

Beth has been a hygienist in our office for over five years. She grew up right here in Damascus and still attends church here. She brings to our office 20 plus years of experience in the dental field. She graduated from Allegany College of Maryland with her Dental Hygiene degree in 1997 where she served as the President of the Student American Dental Hygienist Association. She was the Director of the Dental Assisting Program at Hagerstown Business College prior to coming to our office. She enjoys seeing patients new to the area and also those she has known for years.

Jackie, R.D.H.

Jackie is a registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from Allegany College of Maryland in 2008. Prior to becoming a hygienist, Jackie was a certified dental assistant for eight years. She grew up in Woodbine, MD and now currently resides in Taylorsville, MD. She has been happily married for five years and is expecting her first child in June. Jackie chose a dental profession because she enjoys working with patients to improve their oral health and hygiene.

Crystal, R.D.H.

Crystal grew up in Lancaster, VA, but now resides in Frederick, MD. Crystal attended Allegany College of Maryland where she received her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2008. One of the most enjoyable aspects of her career in dental hygiene is working with people and establishing trusting relationships with her patients. Crystal's main goal is to educate her patients to help them develop and maintain good oral health. Outside the practice on her spare time, Crystal enjoys music, snowboarding, traveling, and most importantly spending time with her friends and family.

Erin, R.D.H, B.S.

Erin received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene with honors from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery University of Maryland. She is a member of Who’s Who Among College Graduates. Erin has been practicing dentistry since 1991 and joined our practice in 2004. She has been a faculty member of the University of Maryland Dental School since 1992 and serves as a clinical instructor in the Department of Periodontics. In addition to general dentistry, Erin has seven years of pediatric dentistry experience. She is an active member of the Greater Baltimore Dental Hygienists Association and the Maryland Dental Hygienists Association. She spends her free time on the soccer, football, field hockey, and lacrosse fields with her two daughters and two sons.

Christine, R.D.H.

Christine graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Allegany College and has been in both a family dental office and a periodontal (gum surgery) office for over twenty years. Her specialty is advanced treatments of gum disease and maintenance protocols after gum surgery. When she is not working, she is attending continuing education programs and spending time at home with her husband and two children. She is looking forward to being your hygienist for many years to come.
